Dingboche

Overview

Dingboche is a high-altitude village in the Everest trekking region and one of the major acclimatization stops before trekkers continue toward Lobuche, Gorak Shep, and Everest Base Camp.

The village lies in an open Himalayan valley with mountain views and exposed alpine terrain. Its setting marks a transition from lower Khumbu settlements to more severe high-altitude trekking conditions.
